Client’s brief was to create a viral movie for their microwave popcorn range with a few thousand euros.

We decided to give them more than a low-budget web movie. Referencing Michel Gondry’s “Be Kind Rewind” universe, we used the money to create an online film festival platform, aimed at student amateur film-makers.

More than 100.000 website views, 300 movies uploaded, in just 2,5 months. Results were spectacular in respect to the initial investment, the campaign being later rewarded with a silver Effie, and sequels in the following years.

As a sidenote, I did all the photography, retouching and website design.
