Vladimir spent more than 9 years doing creative and art direction, graphic design, branding and photography at top East-European agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Erickson in Bucharest, Romania. During this period he was involved in and he managed all aspects of advertising creation such as integrated communication platforms for multinational clients, award winning direct marketing campaigns, and complex brand identity design. Long term clients include Raiffeisen Bank (Romania’s third largest bank), Vodafone or Coca-Cola.
Whilst working as group creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi Bucharest, Vladimir was involved in the creative department’s complete remodelling and reorganization, he set up a functional 7 people creative team, and he brought the agency’s first Cannes Lions award plus the agency’s first EFFIE.
In 2012, Vladimir exchanged the comfort of native Bucharest for London’s creative magnetism without a precise plan other than that of starting and finishing a BA Fine Art course — previous unfinished undergraduate studies include 2 years of Economics and 2 years of Cinematography.
Today, as a Fine Art graduate and postgraduate student Vladimir is still fascinated by London where he divides his working hours between designing complex brand identity systems for UK’s top 100 architects such as WilkinsonEyre and Farrells, teaching future advertising creatives, and setting up his fine art practice.
